You can migrate your Norstar digital telephone sets to your Avaya IP500 V2 system using the Avaya IP500 TCM 8 base card.
The first eight RJ45 ports are TCM DS ports, which are used to connect Nortel digital telephones. It can be equipped with an IP500 trunk interface card, which makes use of the extra four ports for trunk connections.
Per IP500 V2 control unit, a maximum of four can be used.
Compatible with IP Office 7.0 or higher on IP500 V2 control units; not compatible with IP500 V1 control units.
Nortel M7000 and T7000 series digital phones, Nortel Digital Mobility Solution, Norstar Audio Conferencing Unit, and Nortel T7406/T7406E cordless phones are all compatible with TCM DS ports.
IP500 Analog Trunk 4, IP500 Universal PRI 1, IP500 Universal PRI 2 are optional IP500 trunk interface cards.
